Better Pillbox Design
Dementia is widespread in many people, altering their lives and their lives of the families leading to emotional stress. Many things become problematic with dementia, especially medications. Medication is inevitable for elderly patients with dementia. This is undoubtedly a challenging and risky routine for them . As aresult, the team decided to define a"better pillbox" as our research and design direction; and to take safety, efficiency, and an emotional response as the design elements of our products. Through online surveys, interviews, observations, and ethnography, our members conducted a comprehensive study on the user experience of the pillbox. In our final design we produced a pillbox that better served the elderly.
