Figure of Buddha

China is a country with a strong Buddhist atmosphere and I was more or less influenced by it when I was growing up. When I gaze at the statue of Buddha, I can feel a sense of serenity and solemnity. This is also the motivation for me to create this series of watercolors. I hope to calm down my usually impetuous mood through painting.

Mexican Impression series collage

Day of the Dead

On the streets of Mexico, I saw many paintings of skulls and artifacts. It showsthe special vision of death of Mexico. Mexicans feel that death is the destination of life, but also the startof a new life. People appear in skull costumes on the Day of the Dead. Those elements represents both life and death.

Viva La Vida

The legendary female artist Frida is one of the most famous artists around the world. She uses her surrealist painting to present her extraordinary life. Life is painful but also beautiful just like her last painting "Viva La Vida". This pictorial is derived from her self portrait and the Lady of Guadalupe.

Travel Memory sketch series

Travel Memory sketch series

Since I was a child, my parents have taken me to travel around the world to expand my horizons. It broadens my horizon and makes me a person who loves traveling. As I reflected on my travels around the world, I decided to deepen my memory by sketching. So I created this sketch series to document landmarks around the world to better understand the cultural differences between different regions.
